“敬佑生命、救死扶傷、甘于奉獻、大愛無疆”是在2016年8月召開的全國衛生與健康大會上，用以概括廣大衛生與健康工作者精神的詞語。這16個字，是對醫療工作者職業精神最真實的寫照，也承載着一份沉甸甸的責任和光榮使命。
醫生這個職業隻有被需要，很少可以去選擇。他們能夠選擇的，就是出現在最需要他們的地方。他們的事業崇高而神聖，他們的勞動需要被尊重和理解。
