據伊朗多家媒體報道，當地時間4日，伊朗議會投票通過《伊朗貨币和銀行法》修正案，該修正案将官方貨币“裡亞爾”（Rial）改為“土曼”（Toman）。

新法案要求伊朗中央銀行在考慮貨币儲備和對國際貨币基金組織承諾的情況下，以“土曼”重新計算彙率。
法律還明确規定，“裡亞爾”将與“土曼”一起保持兩年的信譽，在此期間，将逐步收集舊硬币和鈔票，并用新硬币和鈔票代替。
據了解，新的貨币換算将變成1萬“裡亞爾”兌換1“土曼”。
