今天又到了我們英語郵件常犯的錯誤的闆塊，我們要說的是well received 。
這個短語可以說在國内乃至東南亞地區的英語郵件中非常高頻率的出現。
例子：
A： Please find the attached quote /agreement /file .
B ： Well received ! 或者 Your e-mail was well received .
這裡B想表達的是“我收到了”，強調收到了這個結果和事實。
BUT， 這個用法是錯誤的， well received 在母語國家完全不是“很好的收到了”這個意思。而是“受好評；深受歡迎”的意思。
例子：
John’s presentation was well received in the office . John的陳述深受辦公室同事的好評。
His speech was well received . 他的演講深受好評。
回到第一個例子，如果你回答發件方Your e-mail was well received . 那麼就是在告訴對方“你的郵件深受好評”，是不是非常奇怪？
其實你完全可以用一句非常簡單句子來表達你收到郵件，即 Thank you for your e-mail .
