1、莫高窟，俗稱千佛洞，坐落在河西走廊西端的敦煌。它始建于十六國的前秦時期，曆經十六國、北朝、隋、唐、五代、西夏、元等曆代的興建，形成巨大的規模，有洞窟735個，壁畫4.5萬平方米、泥質彩塑2415尊，是世界上現存規模最大、内容最豐富的佛教藝術地。
2、2020年2月，為緻敬奮鬥在抗疫一線的醫務工作者，景區在恢複運營後，對全國所有醫護人員實行免費開放，直至2020年底。5月10日，莫高窟恢複開放。
