美的挂機空調顯示H5是空調正在化霜，所有空調在制熱的時間久後，或室外溫度過低之時，都會進行化霜，這時便會出現H5故障代碼，這種情況不需要解決，等化霜完成，空調即可正常運轉，化霜有時會自動進行而且持續時間較長，大約十分鐘左右。如果空調除霜比較頻繁，可以把内機的過濾網清洗一下，另外把溫度适當調整得高一些即可。
