sk3是一種碳素工具鋼，也是高碳鋼的一種，這種材質具有良好的耐磨性和切削性。但是由于SK3鋼材中的合金元素含量比較少，所以它的硬化層比較淺，而且回火抗力低，在經過淬火之後變形比較大。sk3是日本的編号，這種鋼材的含碳量在0.6%以上，來源也比較容易，可加工性比較好，是用來制作低淬透性冷作模具的一種工具鋼。常用來制作一些沖模、夾具或者是一些滑動部分對硬度和耐磨性要求比較高的零件。
