1、成人日常所用的領帶，通常長130-150厘米。
2、領帶打好之後，外側應略長于内側。其标準的長度應當是下端正好觸及腰帶扣上端。這樣當外面的西裝上衣系上扣子後，領帶的下端便不會從衣襟下面“探頭探腦”地顯露出來。當然，領帶也别打得太短，不要讓它動不動就從衣襟上面“跳”出來。
