張道仙是道教創始人張道陵。
張道陵，東漢沛國豐縣人。是五鬥米道的創始人。從張道陵這一脈傳承下來的天師道，以符箓見長，故世稱符箓派，也叫正一派。“正一”就是太極虛道的别稱，同時也含正宗、正統、規整的意思。從東漢張道陵正式創立道教至今，在中國已經有近2000年的曆史。道教在自身傳承發展的過程中，不斷汲取中華傳統文化的精髓，是中華傳統文化的主要思想支柱之一。
